A lot of visual and physical impairment has been prevented through our eye health and orthopaedic services, persons with disabilities have been re-integrated into economic and basic life activities through our issuance of assistive devices and technologies.
Our health services extend over a wide range of coverage, this includes Health Promotion through health talks in schools and communities, Prevention of Disability through the eye and orthopaedic screening and consultations, Reduction of Disability through medical treatments, Surgical operations, referrals, provision of nutritional supplements and the provision of assistive devices and technology for persons with disability.
