Elim Christian Vocational Training Centre (Elim CVTC) invites qualified, passionate and committed professionals to apply for exciting career opportunities under the BOLD ACTION Project, a CBM-supported initiative to be implemented in Oju and Obi Local Government Areas of Benue State.

Elim Christian Vocational Training Centre is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to working with the love of Christ to promote the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups by facilitating access to sustainable disability-inclusive and community development services. Through partnerships and the Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID) approach, Elim CVTC works to strengthen community systems, advocate for disability inclusion, and improve access to quality services for vulnerable populations.

The BOLD ACTION Project seeks to strengthen disability inclusion, community resilience, participation, and access to inclusive development opportunities. We are therefore seeking highly motivated individuals who are passionate about creating lasting impact and contributing to meaningful social change.

Position 1: Project Coordinator – BOLD ACTION Project

Location: Oju and Obi LGAs, Benue State, Nigeria

Employment Type: Full-time (Project Contract)

Role Summary

The Project Coordinator will provide overall leadership, coordination and technical oversight for the implementation of the BOLD ACTION Project. The successful candidate will ensure quality project delivery, effective stakeholder engagement, compliance with donor requirements, timely reporting, and achievement of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and coordination for the implementation of the BOLD ACTION Project.
  • Coordinate project planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
  • Ensure activities are implemented in accordance with approved work plans, budgets, donor requirements and organizational policies.
  • Supervise and support project staff, consultants and volunteers.
  • Coordinate relationships with government institutions, Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), community structures, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare quality technical reports, work plans, budgets and project documentation.
  • Ensure effective project risk management and safeguarding compliance.
  • Support advocacy, networking and visibility activities.
  • Work closely with Finance and MEAL teams to ensure accountability and quality implementation.
  • Represent Elim CVTC at meetings, workshops and coordination forums.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Project Management, Community Development, Disability Studies or a related discipline. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing donor-funded development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in disability-inclusive development, community development or humanitarian programming.
  • Strong project planning, coordination, budgeting and reporting skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working with donor compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel regularly within project communities.

Position 2: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer – BOLD ACTION Project

Location: Oju and Obi LGAs, Benue State, Nigeria

Employment Type: Full-time (Project Contract)

Role Summary

The MEAL Officer will support the implementation of a robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning system that promotes evidence-based programming, quality assurance, accountability to beneficiaries and donors, and continuous learning throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of the project’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning framework.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring tools, indicator tracking systems and databases.
  • Coordinate baseline, routine monitoring, assessments, surveys and end-line evaluations.
  • Ensure quality data collection, validation, cleaning, analysis and reporting.
  • Produce monitoring reports, dashboards and performance summaries.
  • Conduct routine field monitoring visits.
  • Support project staff in data collection and documentation.
  • Coordinate beneficiary feedback and accountability mechanisms.
  • Document lessons learned, best practices and project success stories.
  • Build staff capacity on monitoring, data collection and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with donor MEAL requirements.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

  1. Ability to work independently and travel regularly within project locations.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies or a related discipline.
  3. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning within donor-funded projects.
  4. Strong understanding of results-based management and logical frameworks.
  5. Experience using KoboToolbox, ODK, CommCare or similar digital data collection platforms.
  6. Excellent data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of SPSS, Power BI or similar software will be an added advantage.
  7. Strong report writing and analytical skills.
  8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Languages

Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Igede, Idoma, Tiv or other relevant local languages will be an added advantage.
