Exciting times at Elim CVTC!
We just hosted the maiden edition of the Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID) School Club Inter-School Competition, bringing together students from 5 secondary schools for an unforgettable day of learning, teamwork, and inclusion!
The event featured a thrilling CBID Quiz, social presentations, and a heated debate on a powerful topic: “Who has the greatest responsibility for inclusive education -Government or school authorities?”
The discussion challenged students to examine the roles of different stakeholders in providing an education system where all learners can participate. It also gave participants an opportunity to develop their communication, critical-thinking and public-speaking skills while engaging with different perspectives.
As we look ahead to future editions, the Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID) School Club Inter-School Competition will continue to provide a space where students can develop their abilities while engaging with important issues affecting education and their communities.
Inclusive education is a shared responsibility – and every voice matters!
